About pandorina
Pandorina colonies, originally illustrated by Nathanael Pringsheim, are composed of individual cells held together by a gelatinous matrix. They reproduce asexually through a process where each cell divides into sixteen daughter cells, which remain attached, forming a new colony. This unique method of reproduction and colony structure showcases the complexity of nature's mechanisms.
